Vessel Support Magnetometer Survey
R/V Cyprinodon and survey equipment provided in August 1995 for a search for lost ordinance at a beach replenishment site off Sandy Hook, New Jersey. Survey equipment furnished and operated included precision navigation system, navigation software, and side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profiling and an underwater video sled system.
Boston Harbor Acoustic Fish Survey
In May 1998, R/V Cyprinodon and crew will support WES Vessel during an acoustic study of anadromous fish in the Mystic River to provide baseline data prior to dredging during the Boston Harbor Navigation Improvement Project.

New Bedford, MA has been chartered by the NOAA National Marine
Fisheries and MA Division of Marine Fisheries for a series of
fisheries research cruises and is presently under a long term
contract to CR Environmental, Inc. on the MWRA Boston Harbor Outfall
Monitoring Program. The vessel is fully equipped and insured and is
available for charter for oceanographic survey
operations. |

MA has performed approximately 75 surveys under contract to CR Environmental, Inc. on the MWRA Boston Harbor Outfall Monitoring Program. Surveys
Vessel support for a 12 day cod/haddock spawning study on
Georges Bank and the Gulf of Maine in March 1996; a 13 day marine mammal
survey in August 1996, and a 16 day porbeagle shark survey in September
1996.
Northeast Shelf Ecosystem Monitoring
Vessel support for a 9 day fisheries research survey in the western Atlantic Ocean in July 1997 and September 1998 to assess the impact of changing biological and physical properties of the NE continental shelf ecosystem.
Inshore vessel and sampling support for the mussel
watch program for the Cape Ann, Boston, and Duxbury Bay, MA, sampling
sites in 1997; Buzzards Bay, MA, sampling sites in 1998; and Narragansett
Bay, RI, sampling sites in 1999.

Searches For Lost Gear
Lost equipment survey and successful retrieval undamaged of a
sediment sampler/video and still camera for the U.S.G.S. off Stellwagen Bank
using a fishing vessel's otter trawl. Search for WHOI's lost video plankton
recorder using a vessel's otter trawl in Vineyard Sound.
Vessel support in 1997 and 1998 using the 62 foot F/V Christopher Andrew for the retrieval of 2,000 lb tripods which support current profiling systems and sediment traps off Boston Harbor and Scituate, MA.
