Vessel support services to the Flight 800 salvage operation off East Moriches, Long Island, NY, conducted by the U.S. Navy. Two 100-foot scallopers under charter to CR Environmental dragged the ocean floor from early November 1996 to May 1997, and successfully recovered large amounts of aircraft debris.

Video Sled Deployment on Mud Dump Site off New York fo SAIC
Baseline video sled survey to investigate the sand cap at the New York Mud Dump off New York Harbor. CR developed a specialized underwater towed video sled equipped with a high resolution video camera and high output lighting system.
Boston Harbor Confined Disposal Cell
Provided vessel support on a side-scan, sub-bottom and
bathymetric survey of a confined disposal cell in Boston Harbor. A video
survey using CR's sled with a high resolution video camera was used to
ground truth the acoustic data.
In the spring of 1998, CR provided vessel and navigation support on an extensive bathymetric, side-scan and sediment profile camera survey a the Buzzards Bay, MA, Disposal Site. Side-scan mosaics will be produced and sediment samples and camera images used to help interpret the results of the survey.
