Vibrocore Sampling and Sediment Mapping

CR Environmental collected nearly 50 vibrocores adjacent to a former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) in support of Woodard & Curran's environmental and ecological assessment of potential impacts to this valuable waterway.  Sampling and survey operations were conducted from a shallow draft jon boat and CR's coring raft.  A Trimble ProXRS DGPS was used to precisely locate sample stations and to locate manually measured sediment probes.
