Bathymetric Survey Supporting Wave Impact Analysis
Mt. Hope Bay, Tiverton, Rhode Island

CR Environmental performed a detailed bathymetric  survey for GZA GeoEnvironmental's Providence, RI office to aid in the analysis of rehabilitation options for a former fuel transfer depot.  The survey consisted of less than 25-foot line spacing using a digital 200 kHz Raytheon fathometer, a Trimble ProXRS DGPS and HYPACK survey software, and met all ACOE hydrographic standards for detailed pre-dredge and structural analysis.  The survey was performed from CR's S/V Cobia.

CR prepared detailed bathymetric maps of the survey area and delivered all data products to GZA engineers in the desired AutoCADD compatible format.   The data will help GZA analyze potential hazards associated with wave and current impacts to the rehabilitated structure.
