WETLAND ASSESSMENT AND DELINEATION QUALIFICATIONS

 

Key personnel in CR's wetlands group include Charlotte Cogswell, Kenneth Thomson, Catherine Pedevillano and Christopher Wright. Ms. Cogswell, Ms. Pedevillano, and Mr. Thomson have extensive wetland delineation experience. Mr. Thomson has logged over 100 miles for gas pipeline corridor surveys using DGPS. Ms. Pedevillano, a wildlife biologist, formerly worked for the U.S. FWS and as a liaison with the NED-ACOE.  Ms. Cogswell as project manager for CR and Ms. Pedevillano have experience working with the Massachusetts Natural Heritage and Endangered Species Program regarding state-listed rare species and conservation permits. Ms. Cogswell has years of State and Federal permitting experience and can assist clients as needed in these tasks.


Wetland Delineation, Habitat Evaluation and State-listed Species Studies:

Wareham Fire District Pipeline, MA – 3 mile wetland delineation using DGPS and environmental assessment of the alignment area (1998, SEA Consultants prime);

Gas Pipeline Wetland Surveys for Eastern Shore Natural Gas – several miles of delineation in DE, MD, and PA for proposed alignments and FERC filings (1999-00, CR prime);

Barnstable Airport Expansion, MA - Evaluation of wetlands, rare species concerns, and access alternatives (1995, CRJA prime);

Worcester Vocational School and Brockton Elementary School, Massachusetts- wetland delineation, wildlife habitat evaluation, vernal pool surveys & certification (2000-01, CRJA prime).

CR Environmental Trimble DGPS wetland delineation Wareham Fire District Pipeline project. Pink-flowered Plymouth Gentian found along the shoreline of a cranberry bog water supply pond in the Wareham project vicinity.

Bellingham Waste Water Treatment Plant, MA – wetland habitat evaluation for abutting area with state-listed species for EIR submittal (2001, SEA prime);

Wetland Delineations on Cape Cod – Conducted wetland delineations and report filings in Falmouth and Bourne (1997 – Present, BSS Design, Doyle Assoc. prime);

Upper Charles River Reservation Restoration for MDC – 5 mi corridor along the Charles in Waltham, Watertown and Newton, delineated wetland, habitat evaluation, permitting and restoration (1994 – present, CRJA prime).
